The Loft Restaurant at Traders Point Creamery is seeking a General Manager to deliver Indiana’s upscale farmstead dining experience with Hoosier hospitality. We are committed to authentic, from-scratch, farm-to-table food in a rustic chic atmosphere on Indiana's first Certified Organic Dairy Farm. Located on the upper level of a historic 1860's barn, our full-service restaurant has been recognized as one of the top restaurants in the Indianapolis area and continues to help lead the way in integrated pasture-to-plate dining.

Our menus at The Loft prioritize locally organic and seasonal food, with many ingredients raised on-site. Our farm provides grass-fed beef along with pastured pork, chickens and eggs. Our creamery crafts artisan cheeses and grass-fed dairy products, alongside our garden who grows organic produce. The farm also hosts weddings, receptions, private and corporate events. The restaurant plays a key role in many of these exciting events with our kitchen exclusively catering. Our passion is to cook and eat in harmony with the land and to reconnect our guests to their food and its sources. We strive to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for our staff and guests alike.


 At least four years of fine dining management experience

 Strong knowledge of wine and beer preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Uphold the mission of The Loft Restaurant

 Provide strong leadership Recruit and training of the front of house staff

 Supervise daily restaurant operations

 Manage, coach and motivate staff to reach their potential

 Maintain the highest personal standards of presentation, dress and behavior

 Communicate regularly and effectively with management team members

 Maintain excellent standards of guest service

 Solicit and respond to guest feedback to understand the needs and wants of guests

 Ensure the proper implementation of all company policies and procedures

 Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant

 Experience with Toast POS system is preferred, but not required

Availability: Must have flexibility for day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
