Description

SullivanMunce Cultural Center invites the community to grow, learn, and be inspired during its 2026 Gardening Talks Series, a collection of free educational programs leading up to the beloved Gardens of Zionsville Tour on June 27, 2026. The talks are designed to connect gardening enthusiasts, nature lovers, and homeowners with fresh ideas for creating more beautiful, sustainable, and wildlife-friendly landscapes.

The series features three engaging presentations by regional experts and educators:

  • On Thursday, June 11, Mindy Murdock will present Beyond Invasive Plants, helping attendees identify invasive species and discover native alternatives that support pollinators, birds, and healthy habitats.
  • On Saturday, June 20, Anne Maddox will present Art, Nature, and Habitat, an inspiring talk combining storytelling, art, and ecology to explore habitat preservation and the importance of creating wildlife corridors in our communities.
  • On Tuesday, June 23, Jo Ellen Meyers Sharpe will present Trendy and Not So Trendy in the Garden and Landscape, exploring current gardening trends and practical ways homeowners can make environmentally responsible landscape choices.

All talks are free and open to the public and will be held at the SullivanMunce Cultural Center, 225 West Hawthorne Street in Zionsville.
