On Friday, March 21, 2025 at 11:30 am, The Arc of Greater Boone County is excited to be hosting our second annual Achieve with… Leadership Luncheon. The luncheon will be held at the Farm Bureau Community Building located at the Boone County Fairgrounds and will include networking time, a catered lunch, and a keynote address by Lonnie Bedwell. Lonnie is an extreme adventure athlete and veteran who lost his vision in a hunting accident in 1997 and did not let that slow him down. He will share his story of resilience and self-motivation with us – and tell some amazing stories of his adventures! This event is an opportunity for us to share our mission and to show that disability is just a label and illustrate how much can be achieved when expectations are high! Funds raised at this event help to cover costs of services, supports, and maintenance needs that are not covered through our program revenues including admission costs for community activities, updates to our buildings, class supplies, and more! Join us in supporting persons to reach their maximum potential in partnership with the community at this amazing event!
