Virtual Workshop (Session 2 of 2-part Series)

This Session 2 is a continuation of the topic: Advocacy Within Our Community from November 29. If you registered for Session 1 you were automatically registered for Session 2.

Workshop Description: Within our world today, many are rising up to the role of ally, advocate, and even co-conspirator. There are significant differences between these roles and there are times when all roles are critical. In this session, we will define the different ways individuals, and organizations, can take action against discrimination and inequities that exist in our communities.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Reflect upon personal experiences and the impact these have on how we take action
  2. Define roles of advocacy and provide examples to move forward with a stronger social justice lens
  3. Craft an action plan to take action against inequities that exist in our communities

This 2-part virtual workshop series is available to current Zionsville Chamber of Commerce members at no cost.
