Downtown Zionsville Now Has Two New Dual Trash and Recycling Receptacles
The Zionsville Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Town of Zionsville, is proud to announce it has been awarded a $4,500 grant from the Boone County Solid Waste Management District through its Community Grant program.
These funds have been used to purchase two new dual trash and recycling receptacles, which have been installed at key downtown locations to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment. The receptacles are now located at the north side of 106th and Main Street and at the north side of Pine and Elm Streets—strategically placed at the boundaries of Zionsville’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA).
The new receptacles enhance waste management options in the area by providing easy access to both trash disposal and recycling. As foot traffic continues to increase in the Main Street area, especially with the popularity of DORA events, the placement of these receptacles ensures that responsible waste disposal remains convenient and accessible.
