First Come, First Hung 2025 AWARDS The exhibition was exactly what the name implied: ALL artists through our doors at 225 West Hawthorne Street in Zionsville, IN on Saturday, January 11, 2025 between the hours of 10 am and Noon was accepted into this popular exhibit that allowed both the amateur and the professional artist the opportunity to showcase their talent in our galleries Saturday, January 25, 2025 through Saturday, February 22, 2025. The Edie Kellar Mahaney Creative Award of Merit gifts $100 to an artist of the First Come First Hung exhibition (can be youth or adult) who exhibits a unique originality and a colorful, creative expression that instills joy. This special award honors the spirit of artist Edie Kellar Mahaney (1930-2017), the founding director of the Munce Art Center in 1981 and the abstract expressionist painter whose canvases expressed pure joy.
This award was chosen by Edie’s daughter (Lolly Mahaney) before the opening date of the First Come, First Hung exhibition
