The Arc of Greater Boone County Adopts New Strategic Plan Focused on Inclusion, Growth, and Community

LEBANON, IN – The Arc of Greater Boone County is proud to announce the adoption of a new three-year strategic plan, designed to deepen inclusion and expand opportunities for individuals living with disabilities and families in need across Boone County.

Building on decades of trusted service, The Arc of Greater Boone County will continue offering its core programs – Day Services, Career Connections, Supported Living, Family Support, and WIC – while focusing on five strategic priorities: Community Engagement, Transportation, Employment and Skills Development, Organizational Infrastructure, and Organizational Sustainability.

“We’ve always believed that the people we serve should be seen, heard, and included – not just in our programs, but in the fabric of our community,” said Pam Verbarg, Executive Director. “This plan helps us take that commitment even further by expanding opportunities for connection, growing employment pathways, and ensuring that our staff, systems, and facilities are ready for the future.”

The plan was developed with input from clients, families, staff, board members, Aktion Club self-advocates, and community stakeholders. As the organization continues to grow, its mission remains the same: to assist people living with disabilities and those in need to achieve their maximum potential in partnership with the community.
